Odaily Planet Daily News Filecoin announced on X that it will launch the second round of the FIL-RetroPGF program in the fall of 2024. The program aims to provide retroactive impact funds for the Filecoin ecosystem. The first round of FIL-RetroPGF has distributed more than 200,000 FIL (approximately US$1 million) to 95 projects. The second round of the program will provide more funds, simplify the application, voting and allocation processes, and improve the user experience. Funds will be distributed in a streaming manner through Drips on FVM. FIL-RetroPGF-2 will continue to cover multiple categories such as infrastructure, tools and utilities, education, protocol research and development, collective governance, and products, with a special focus on Filecoin data entry, applications to improve usability, FVM on-chain payment development, protocol research and development progress, cross-network connection projects, and high-quality RPC providers, browsers, dashboards and other tools.
