ChainCatcher reported that Arbitrum developer Offchain Labs released Arbitrum’s future technology roadmap, with the following highlights:
Stylus will be available on the Arbitrum One and Nova mainnets next month, supporting WASM language development such as Rust, C, and C++;
BoLD and censorship timeout features will be launched in the second half of the year, improving security and decentralization;
A decentralized sorter is expected to be implemented in 2025, dispersing transaction sorting responsibilities;
The fast withdrawal function will be released in the third quarter of 2024, enabling fast settlement between the AnyTrust chain and the parent chain;
Chain Clusters is scheduled to be launched in 2025, aiming to reduce cross-chain communication time. In addition, Offchain Labs also plans to implement multi-client support and adaptive pricing mechanisms in the first half of 2025 to improve performance and efficiency.
