**Solana ETFs Face Major Hurdles Under Current US Administration**

The chances of Solana exchange-traded funds (ETFs) getting approved in the US are slim to none, according to Bloomberg ETF analyst Eric Balchunas. The SEC reportedly rejected a crucial filing, leading to the removal of two Solana ETF proposals from Cboe's website.

Balchunas suggests that approval is unlikely without a change in leadership, and ETFStore president Nate Geraci agrees, citing Solana's classification as a security as a major barrier. VanEck's Matthew Sigel remains hopeful, pointing to a 2018 case that might support Solana being seen as a commodity. Despite setbacks, VanEck's S-1 filing is still active.
