According to ChainCatcher, Anthony Scaramucci, founder of SkyBridge Capital, said in an exclusive interview with Cointelegraph that presidential candidate Kamala Harris may lose the US election due to her failure to attract voters who support cryptocurrency.
Scaramucci believes that even if there are only 25 million cryptocurrency holders in the United States, 5% of them as single-issue voters could affect election results in swing states.
As the former White House communications director for the Trump administration, Scaramucci admitted that the Democratic Party’s stance on the crypto industry is a “disaster.” However, while most of the crypto community seems to support Trump for his pro-crypto stance, Scaramucci believes that Trump is not an ideal candidate for the crypto space.
He said Trump is an extremely transactional person who supports crypto today and may not support it tomorrow. Scaramucci believes that Trump's goal is to create an "oligarchy" that will weaken the US capital market and its position in the world.
