European financial giant joins dozens of banks already offering bitcoin

The Italian bank Sella, through its Hype platform, announces the gradual offering of cryptocurrency services. Banca Sella, one of the oldest financial institutions in Italy, announced on August 19 its foray into the cryptocurrency market. The bank, which currently serves 1.4 million clients, will gradually make bitcoin (BTC) trading available to its users.

The new service is currently in beta testing for Hype Plus clients, a mobile banking platform that is available to all users of the financial institution.
