Massive Bitcoin Theft: $238 Million Lost in Single Transaction
A shocking incident has come to light involving the theft of a staggering 4,064 Bitcoin, worth approximately $238.7 million, in a single transaction.
According to reports, the victim received a significant portion of these funds from the Genesis Trading Bankruptcy Distributions wallet on August 2nd, amounting to 642.4 BTC ($37.73 million). Additionally, 2,173 BTC ($127.6 million) was transferred from Genesis Trading to the victim two years ago.
The stolen funds were swiftly moved across multiple platforms including ThorChain, eXch, Kucoin, ChangeNow, Railgun, and the Avalanche Bridge.
