"Rise of BRICS: A New Alliance to Challenge Dollar Hegemony"
The countries of the Global South, once considered emerging, are uniting to free themselves from Western domination, particularly the dollar-based economic system. The BRICS alliance (Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa) is expanding with the arrival of new members such as Saudi Arabia and Iran, bringing their number to 10. Many other countries, attracted by the idea of ââcreating a more equitable system, could join them. This rise of the Global South threatens the influence of the countries of the North, and could lead to an economic world less centered on the US dollar.
