According to TechFlow, Jupiter co-founder Meow announced yesterday that based on community feedback, the platform will improve the display of token permission warnings. The main changes include:

  • Use less conspicuous FYI icons for all tokens validated by the team or community;

  • Cancel the special treatment of USDC/USDT;

  • Updated hover text to better explain the need to freeze permissions;

  • Create a document in Jupiter Station detailing the frozen permissions and link it in the app;

  • Raise the verification threshold for tokens with freezing permissions.

Meow said the changes are designed to ensure fairness for all tokens while maintaining security, avoiding overly spooking users, and driving critical education.
