Judge Silvio Gemaque issued the order, saying that Johann Steynberg's death certificate had been added to the case file. After the news of the death of the MTI CEO came to light, some victims immediately expressed doubts about the claim. Some people believe that Johann Steynberg may have faked his own death like convicted murderer Thabo Bester. According to reports, when Johann Steynberg died, his death certificate stated that he suffered from acute respiratory failure.
