PANews reported on August 15 that according to IB Times, digital asset trading platform Bitfinex announced today that it will cooperate with cryptocurrency custodian Komainu Connect to explore strategic integration to achieve new remote custody solutions. The two parties signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for cooperation, which will be supported by Ledger Enterprise's over-the-counter trading and settlement technology Ledger Tradelinkâą. This technology enables institutional clients to trade through the Bitfinex platform. The integration is expected to provide institutions and sophisticated investors with a means to leverage Bitfinex's liquidity and trading capabilities while keeping their assets safe in an independent, regulated environment.
