#Crypto and sports have enjoyed incredible partnerships over the years. Both industries have found a focal point where they can benefit each other. As a result, cryptocurrency has gained much popularity and trust among fans.

Bettors also enjoy benefits from crypto. Those with access to NFL stats can try their luck with Crypto and increase their assets. So, with global collaboration increasing, these are some of the sports with the most crypto sponsors and partnerships.

Soccer

Soccer is one of the Sports with the most crypto partnerships and sponsorships. Last year, FIFA announced Crypto.com as the official sponsor of the FIFA World Cup held in Qatar. The company was the exclusive cryptocurrency trading platform sponsor of Qatar 2022 and benefited from significant branding exposure both within mad outside the tournament’s stadiums.

Many sports teams have been sponsored and partnered with crypto, including the current English Premier League champions, Manchester City, who expanded its existing partnership with crypto exchange OKX. The crypto company became the club’s official training kit partner last season.

Formula 1

Formula 1 is among the sports with the most crypto partnerships and sponsors. If you return to the Formula 1 race events held last year, you would have been forgiven for thinking that crypto was still enjoying boom times. Sponsorship deals with blockchain companies, digital asset exchanges, and token issuers were abundant, even as the crypto winter grew colder,

Cars and race tracks splashed some industry’s biggest game, spending hundreds of millions on one of the world’s most popular sports. But then, a very different picture started to emerge as teams unveiled their 2023 cars at the debut race of this season.

While all the teams had at least one crypto sponsor last year, that figure is now down to 60%, and it looks like it will fall further. However, F1 may be re-evaluating the wisdom of tying down its fortunes so tight to the industry that gave us the FTX scandal.

Basketball

Basketball is among the sports with the most crypto partnerships and sponsors. For example, there was a deal between the crypto trading platform, Coinbase, which is among the NBA crypto deals, and CNBC reported that the deal was worth one hundred and ninety-two dollars for four years.

At the same time, other categories are estimated to pay the National Basketball Association over $100 million annually, including banks, merchandise and telecom, according to IEG.

Baseball

In 2021, FTX.U.S-based cryptocurrency exchange announced a global partnership with the MLB to boost global cryptocurrency awareness. The partnership makes FTX the official crypto exchange brand of the league and makes MLB the first major North American sports league to partner with a cryptocurrency exchange officially.

It is known that FTX signed a deal for $210 million naming rights with TSM and also a $135 million naming rights agreement for the Miami Heats arena, which has been known as FTX Arena as of June 2021.

Ice Hockey

Ice Hockey is another sport that has the most crypto partnerships and sponsorship in the sports industry. Some years back, the Crypto.com trading platform, with global headquarters in Hong Kong, became the official cryptocurrency and NFT sponsor of the IIHF World Championship. It was announced a week before the 2021 tournament kick-offs in Riga, Latvia.

American Football

The NFL granted teams limited permission to seek blockchain sponsorships, a partial reversal from late last summer, as the crypto technology grows in popularity among the organization’s fans and athletes. However, after evaluating the technology, the league allowed promotional relationships without undertaking excessive regulation or brand risk.

Rugby

The National Rugby League cashed in on the lucrative cryptocurrency market after signing a three-year deal with Australian crypto exchange Swyftx. The deal is the most extensive digital currency exchange sponsorship in Australian sports history. The partnership includes naming rights to the NRL’s multimillion-dollar Bunker, the in-game video referee system.

UFC

UFC is another sport with the most crypto partnerships and sponsors. People who love fighting championships can watch UFC online. In 2022, the Ultimate fighting championship mixed arts promotion signed a lucrative new sponsorship agreement with a blockchain firm known as VeChain .

The long-term deal was described as a first-of-its-kind partnership, and it is understood to be worth One hundred million dollars, which made it one of the most significant sponsorships in the history of UFC.

Esports

Esports is part of the sport with the most crypto partnerships and sponsors, where cryptocurrency exchange companies partnered with some Esports teams. For example, Bybit, a cryptocurrency exchange based in Singapore, had a multi-year partnership with the famous esports team NAVI.

The team displays Bybit’s logo on their jerseys, charity initiatives, anti-hate and anti-bullying campaigns, and school projects.
