[Goldman Sachs expands digital investments, invests $419 million in Bitcoin ETF]
Goldman Sachs has expanded its exposure to digital assets and now manages a $419 million Bitcoin ETF, according to its latest SEC filing. The company provides clients with exposure to the cryptocurrency market through multiple ETFs.
Goldman Sachs has the largest investment in iShares Bitcoin Trust at $239 million, holding 6,991,248 shares. Additionally, the company invested $79.55 million in the Fidelity Bitcoin ETF, holding 1,516,302 shares. In Grayscale Bitcoin Trust, Goldman Sachs added 660,183 shares, bringing its total investment to $35.1 million.
Goldman's holdings as of June 30 also included 940,443 shares of the Invesco Galaxy Bitcoin ETF (valued at $56.19 million), as well as a $299,900 investment in ARK 21Shares Bitcoin, holding 5,000 shares. The firm also invested $8.3 million in Bitwise Bitcoin ETF, holding 253,961 shares, and $749,469 in WisdomTree, holding 11,773 shares.
