At the Blockchain Futurist Conference, Mike Silagadze, CEO of ether.fi, shared insights on the future of Ether restaking. While the potential for higher rewards is enticing, the risks remain uncertain. "The risk of restaking has not been fully characterized yet," Silagadze noted, but he believes it's likely low.

EigenLayer, a restaking protocol, has already amassed nearly $13 billion in TVL since 2023. Silagadze remains optimistic, stating, "We're probably talking years before it becomes mainstream, but it's inevitable."
