El Salvador's dream of a Bitcoin City is sailing forward with a $1.6 billion investment from Turkish port operator Yilport Holdings. This marks the largest private investment in the country's history! 🇸🇻

President Nayib Bukele shared the exciting news on his X account, revealing a 50-year joint venture to operate the Acajutla and La Unión ports. La Unión, the future site of Bitcoin City, will be powered by Bitcoin and exempt from all taxes except VAT.
