According to TechFlow, UniSat founder and CEO Lorenzo announced that rapid progress has been made in the implementation of smart contracts and cross-chain bridges.
In terms of smart contracts, Fractal launched OP_CAT in the testnet reset today and plans to activate it on the mainnet starting September 1. This is the first step to enhance Bitcoin script programming capabilities with the support of the UniSat team and the sCrypt team. Developers can explore the potential programming capabilities after enabling OP_CAT on GitHub.
Regarding cross-chain bridges, 3-5 methods of transferring assets from the Bitcoin mainnet to Fractal are being developed, including traditional and innovative methods.
