Space and Time Labs, backed by Microsoft’s M12, has announced a new addition to its executive team. Rika Khurdayan, a highly experienced legal expert in cryptocurrency and blockchain, has been appointed as the Chief Legal Officer (CLO).
Rika Khurdayan Moves from Bitstamp to Space and Time Labs
Prior Khurdayan was the US CLO at Bitstamp, one of the oldest cryptocurrency exchanges, before joining Space and Time Labs. Most recently Bitstamp entered into a definitive acquisition agreement with Robinhood Markets, Inc. Khurdayan also founded and ran the law firm KSTechLaw that provided regulatory solutions for token issuers, trading platforms and cryptocurrency investment funds.
Khurdayan stated that she was very much looking forward to this new assignment at Space and Time Labs. She noted that blockchain and artificial intelligence (AI) have high possibilities to introduce radical shifts. Khurdayan is interested in applying her legal skills and knowledge to better address different types or legal issues faced by the company and support further developments.
Her appointment shows that Space and Time Labs is committed to building a robust and regulatory-compliant structure for its technology, environment and people. Currently, the company is preparing for the launch of its mainnet and one of the major priorities of the company is decentralization.
