According to Foresight News, at the "FORESIGHT 2024" annual summit, Alex Page, co-founder and CEO of the decentralized secure computing network Nillion, delivered a keynote speech entitled "Nillion's First Blind Computer: Bringing Privacy, Security, Decentralized Cloud and Storage to Mainstream Users". He said, "Ethereum introduced the first decentralized computer, which supports developers to build applications with smart contracts. Nillion introduced the first blind computing network, using a decentralized computing framework to calculate users' high-value private data, such as introducing privacy protection for medical data. In terms of cryptographic primitives, Nillion's core network Petnet integrates PET (privacy-enhancing technologies) such as fully homomorphic encryption (FHE) and multi-party computing (MPC) to calculate private data. Currently, 9 projects are built using Nillion, and will expand AI and DePIN use cases. In the future, Nillion will allow users to participate in network construction as validators."
The annual FORESIGHT 2024 summit was held at the Hong Kong Ocean Park Marriott Hotel from August 11 to August 12. The full live broadcast is now available on the Foresight News official website. This summit is co-organized by Foresight Ventures, Foresight News and The Block. It aims to provide a stage for communication and collision of ideas for global Web3 builders, and to build a bridge connecting the East and the West and bridging regional differences. We invited senior political officials, industry leaders, heads of traditional institutions, top VC investors and representatives of popular projects to discuss dozens of hot topics such as the new chapter of Web3 in Asia, the strategic opportunities and challenges of institutional entry, the regulatory context under the background of compliance, the new trend of global Web3 investment, the Bitcoin ecosystem, AI+Crypto from narrative to application, large-scale application of ZK, and social networking.
