The bills on the regulation of mining and turnover of cryptocurrencies, as well as on experimental settlements in cryptocurrency, were adopted by the State Duma of Russia.
The Russian legislation will formalize the concepts of «mining», «mining pool», and «organization of digital currency circulation», as well as define the rights and obligations of participants in the cryptocurrency mining market.
The law excludes a ban on organizing the circulation of cryptocurrencies, which could lead to the termination of operations of Russian crypto exchanges and exchangers.
