Does copy trading actually work? Or is it just a scam?
To be honest I get this question all the time about copy trading and whether it’s a scam or not. Personally I have tried copy trading in the past and here are my thoughts about it:
Copy trading works most efficiently with low capital low leverage, if you expect to turn your $100 into $100k from copy trading then forget about it. Mainly because the trader you’re copying has way more flexibility with their funds and can do a lot of risk management in alignment with their portfolio.
However if you are copy trading with low leverage and small portion of your portfolio then copy trading will most likely be profitable in the long run. You just need to find the right trader to copy and a lot of patience, consider it a small source of passive income.
