US regulators said they needed more time to decide whether an ETF representing a portfolio of cryptocurrencies could be listed on the Nasdaq electronic exchange.

- The request was filed by Nasdaq in June to list the Hashdex Nasdaq Crypto Index ETF.

- The SEC has not yet given approval for the listing.
