Golden Finance reported that Bitcoin miner Ionic Digital said in a statement on Thursday that former CEO Matt Prusak told the company in July that he would no longer stay after his term ended on August 14. Ionic has begun looking for a new CEO and appointed Chief Financial Officer John Penver as interim head. In addition, the mining company said that its former audit firm RSM has ended its relationship with all crypto clients, citing the accounting firm's strategic decision to terminate its services to crypto-related companies. The company said: "The temporary absence of the auditor has prevented the company from updating its SEC documents, which in turn has delayed Ionic Digital's efforts to become a public company."
