PANews reported on August 8 that according to Finance Feeds, the Layer2 gaming ecosystem Moonveil completed its Pre-Series A round of financing, with a total financing amount of US$9 million. This round of financing was led by Spartan Group, with participation from Gumi Cryptos Capital, HashKey Capital, Animoca Ventures, Hivemind and Mask Network. Previously, P2 Ventures participated in a seed round of financing. Moonveil plans to use the funds to develop its infrastructure and enhance community participation. In addition, the company will expand its user acquisition strategy, targeting web3 users and attracting GameFi players.

According to reports, Moonveil is a ZK-based Layer2 blockchain ecosystem developed by a team with extensive experience in the gaming and blockchain industries using Polygon CDK. The founders have worked for companies such as Riot Games, Tencent, NetEase, Funplus, and CARV, and have contributed to popular games such as League of Legends, Valorant, Minecraft, and EVE Online. Moonveil's first batch of games, AstrArk and Bushwhack, are about to be released.
