Many people are criticizing OP because the project claims it is not L2.
Personally, I agree with the project because OP has positioned the project to become a strong infrastructure for blockchain rather than the owner of an L2 segment.
For me, from the downtrend, $OP stack, OP Rollup and then super chain, now affirming the project's position => non-stop development.
I think OP understands what retails understand, which is that L1 can handle everything L2 does in reality, and if you look at it objectively, L2 has no effect on real life.
=> OP must upgrade and expand => not be stubborn like Meme L2 (aes garden peach), not ignore yourself for strangers (like only care about developing hst but the price is slow)
=> reasonable step for King of L2
