According to TechFlow, Fred Ehrsam, co-founder of Coinbase and Paradigm, announced today that he and Quintin Frerichs have co-founded a new company called Nudge. Nudge is developing a revolutionary ultrasonic headset designed to enhance the human experience by changing the state of the brain.
The device claims to help users fall asleep, improve focus, break bad habits or improve their mood with the push of a button, and Ehrsam said they believe the technology has the potential to improve people's daily lives more than any other technology.
Nudge currently consists of 11 engineers and scientists from top institutions such as Vision Pro, Neuralink, SpaceX and Stanford. The company emphasized that ultrasound technology has significant advantages in terms of safety and has been used for many years in sensitive areas such as fetal imaging. Ehrsam is calling on interested mechanical, electrical or software engineers to join the team and build this breakthrough device.
