Odaily Planet Daily News OpenAI was founded in 2015 with 11 members in the founding team. So far, 8 co-founders have left the company. One of the remaining co-founders, President Greg Brockman, said he would take a long vacation on Monday. (Business Insider) Earlier today, it was reported that Greg Brockman, president of OpenAI and one of the 11 co-founders, will extend his vacation. Another co-founder and key leader, John Schulman, has joined Anthropic, a competitor founded by former OpenAI researchers. According to a person with direct knowledge of the company's changes, Peter Deng, the product director who joined the company last year, has also left. He previously served as product director at Meta Platform, Uber and Airtable. The previously unreported departures appear to be unrelated to each other, but this suggests that the company's leadership has not yet stabilized after the dismissal and rehiring of CEO Sam Altman in November last year.
