Elon Musk files a second lawsuit against OpenAI
Billionaire Elon Musk has resumed his lawsuit against OpenAI. The New York Times reports.
The lawsuit alleges that the AI startup and its two founders, Sam Altman and Greg Brockman, violated the company's founding agreement by putting commercial interests ahead of the public good.
The statement said Altman and Brockman teamed up with Musk to create OpenAI in 2015 and advance artificial intelligence to benefit humanity, but they allegedly abandoned that mission by entering into a multi-billion-dollar partnership with Microsoft.
Altman and Brockman broke their promise to freely distribute and open source the technologies and provided Microsoft with an exclusive license for them, Musk said.
