In its usual fashion, American blockchain payment company Ripple Labs Inc. has released more than 1 billion XRP from its escrow account in the past 24 hours. According to a series of transfer snapshots of the company's escrow wallet captured by Whale Alert, a total of more than 1 billion XRP was transferred.

XRP Liquidity and Market Sentiment Ripple Labs’ control of XRP supply through the escrow model has become a common practice to determine the liquidity of the token. According to Whale Alert, 500 million XRP have been released from escrow in two batches.

The first involved 300 million XRP worth $178,562,099, and the second involved the issuance of 200 million XRP worth $119,178,067. Prior to these two different transactions, Ripple conducted at least six transactions that transferred 100,000,000 XRP to and from wallets it controlled.

The market seems indifferent to these escrow transfers, as this is not uncommon for payment companies. At the time of writing, the price of XRP has fallen 6.8% over the past 24 hours and is currently trading at $0.5685.

Trading volumes are also currently declining, proving that market confidence is declining.

Setting New Standards Historically, Ripple Labs has released about 1 billion XRP from its escrow account every month. This means that the company may continue to release more XRP in the coming days. For XRP, it needs to maintain its growth trend as it ended the month of July with great results.

Price indicators may be down on the surface right now, but that doesn’t negate the fact that XRP is experiencing one of the strongest bullish sentiments in over a year. #XRP
