According to TechFlow, Base announced the winning projects of the "Onchain Summer" global online hackathon. The event was held from May 31 to June 30 and attracted more than 7,500 developers from around the world to submit more than 1,250 projects. As the number of projects and creativity exceeded expectations, Base increased the bonus pool from 200 ETH to 250 ETH.
The winning projects cover a variety of fields including payment, commerce, creator tools, social platforms, games, transactions and discovery. Among them:
The winning projects in the payment track include BasedCoffee, Slice, and Base Token Store;
The winning projects in the business track include popshop, ReferWare, and FramePay;
Winners in the creator track include Feed, anglez.xyz, and Onchain-Experiments_V1, among others.
Additionally, Base has set up 40 ETH rewards for successful integrations of Smart Wallet, OnchainKit, Verification, and Coinbase Paymaster, and allocated an additional 20 ETH to hundreds of developers who did not win but submitted projects.
