Ripple (XRP) CEO Brad Garlinghouse criticized the SEC's stance on cryptocurrencies, providing further evidence of the agency's hypocrisy. Garlinghouse stated that although SEC Chairman Gary Gensler claimed that the rules were clear, the SEC had difficulty understanding these rules and applied them haphazardly.

Garlinghouse also said the SEC was pursuing a political agenda and using abusive litigation tactics. He made this statement after the SEC withdrew its request to classify tokens such as $SOL $ADA $MATIC as securities in the lawsuit filed against Binance.
