Elon Musk Confessed Dogecoin: He Said He Would Not Promote Others!
Billionaire Elon Musk came to the fore with his statements about the cryptocurrency market.
Technology entrepreneur Elon Musk joined the X Takeover podcast hosted by the Tesla Owners Silicon Valley account today. The podcast was hosted on Musk's social media platform X.
The post was shared again by active members of the Dogecoin community on the same app. During the podcast, Musk was asked about his current thoughts on Bitcoin and his YouTube videos talking about Bitcoin from two years ago.
When Musk was asked to share his thoughts on Bitcoin, he said he thought there was âvalue in Bitcoin and maybe some other cryptos.â Musk admitted that he has a special interest in the meme coin Dogecoin because he âlikes dogs and memesâ:
However, Musk made it clear that he has no intention of promoting any cryptocurrency. He added that the most he would do would be to do it "jokingly". He also noted that if someone sees a video showing him pumping cryptocurrency, it's a deepfake:
At most, I promote cryptocurrency as a joke. If you see me promoting cryptocurrency, that's not me. I think Bitcoin and maybe other cryptocurrencies have value, and I have a soft spot for Dogecoin because I like dogs and memes.
