Bitcoin bulls continue to feel exhausted as the price approaches the $70,000 threshold.

After hitting a local peak near $70,079 yesterday, the price quickly fell sharply.

It has lost more than 3% of its value in the past 24 hours, falling back to around $66,400 at press time.

Altcoin market showed mixed trends yesterday

In terms of profitability, memecoin projects such as BOOK OF MEME (BOME) and Mog Coin (MOG) are leading with profits exceeding 10%.

Other major altcoins such as AIOZ Network (AIOZ), Bitcoin SV (BSV), BitTorrent (BTT), Bitcoin Cash (BCH), eCash (XEC), Maker (MKR), Aave (AAVE), THORChain (RUNE), Litecoin ( LTC)… increased from 3% to 9%.

On the other hand, Popcat (POPCAT) plunged 10% on the day. Meanwhile, Jasmy Coin (JASMY), Jupiter (JUP), Bittensor (TAO), Conflux (CFX), Internet Computer (ICP), Helium (HNT), Bonk (BONK), Pyth Network (PYTH), ORDI (ORDI), Dogwifhat (WIF), NEAR Protocol (NEAR), Stacks (STX), Render (RNDR), Solana (SOL)... evaporated 5-7%.

Ethereum (ETH) tried to retake the $3,400 threshold but failed. However, it ended its 2-day rally above the $3,300 mark and is currently trading around the $3,309 mark, up 0.3% from the previous 24 hours.
