Former Binance helmsman Zhao Changpeng has another setback on his road to freedom.
He was originally looking forward to regaining his freedom at the end of August, but due to unknown variables, his sentence was quietly extended to the end of September at FCI Lompoc II in Seattle.
His defense team had vowed to fight for extra time, but unexpectedly, the date of imprisonment had been quietly postponed to the end of May.
The prosecutor initially planned to be imprisoned for three years, but fortunately, the judge showed mercy and reduced it to April.
Now, Zhao Changpeng is waiting in prison, and the outside world is speculating about his future fate, and time seems to have become his only enemy.
