According to TechFlow, on July 26, according to official news, Lisk announced that it will hold a community vote from September 24 to October 1 to decide whether to burn 100 million LSK tokens, accounting for about 25% of the total supply. The vote will be conducted through the newly established Lisk DAO, aiming to enhance community governance.

If the vote passes, 100 million LSK will be permanently removed and the supply will be reduced to 300 million; if the vote is against, the tokens will remain in the Lisk DAO fund and are scheduled to be distributed between 2027 and 2033 to support community projects and innovation.
