The two companies officially signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for a joint venture on July 26. The new company aims to provide young investors with more diversified investment tools, especially cryptocurrency ETFs. Franklin Templeton President Jenny Johnson said that SBI's brand has a wide influence among young people in Japan, and the cooperation will make top financial capabilities more accessible. SBI Holdings President Yoshitaka Kitao said that the company will further promote the development of Web3 business through the new joint venture.
