According to TechFlow, former US President Donald Trump will attend the Bitcoin Conference in Nashville, Tennessee this Saturday and deliver a keynote speech. Trump's campaign team revealed that it has raised more than $4 million in campaign funds through digital tokens.
According to Federal Election Commission documents, the "Trump 47" joint fundraising committee raised more than $118 million between April 1 and June 30, including at least $2.15 million in Bitcoin donations. The Winklevoss twins each donated about $1 million in Bitcoin.
Trump has recently positioned himself as a pro-cryptocurrency presidential candidate, a reversal of his stance during his time in the White House. He has pledged to protect the rights of self-custodial cryptocurrency holders and said that if he returns to the White House, all future Bitcoin will be mined in the United States.
