When it comes to computers, a Subnet is a range of logical addresses, necessary when a network becomes very large, it is advisable to divide it into subnets to optimize and make the use and efficiency of the network more flexible. Source: Wikipedia.
The proposed PAYG Subnet Validators (ACP-77) of the Avalanche network
The ACP-77 proposal proposes to reinvent subnets in the Avalanche network $AVAX , it is a new way to fulfill the objective of subnets, so that developers feel attracted and comfortable with the features to create validator nodes of specific or dedicated subnets within the network #avalanche .
The outstanding features are:
• Validator Separation: Subnet is separated from Avalanche mainnet validators, partial synchronization on P-Chain eliminates $2000 AVAX requirement and supports communication between subnets via Avalanche Warp Messaging.
• Validator Management: transfer of ownership of validators from P-Chain subnetworks to subnetwork (ERC-20/ERC-721/SPL in $ETH )
• Continuous fee mechanism: The P-Chain works with a fixed fee mechanism. There is currently a proposal to adopt a new multi-dimensional fee model to apply on the P-Chain.
Since the subnets have been separated and synchronization is partial on the P-Chain, they do not need to pay 2000 AVAX, instead they will pay a small ongoing fee.
Through an API they will monitor the available balance. They will recharge the subnetwork account with the amount of #AVAX they want and will be able to recover the surplus.
The new model for subnets consists of a redesign of the known mechanism. The cost of creating a subnet validator is significantly reduced, attracting the interest of developers to become subnet validators.
The ACP-77 design also provides more sovereignty to subnets, making it the responsibility of subnet validators to verify subnet assets and security.
How does the Avalanche community and social miners, active members on AvalancheHub, participate in ACP-77?
First we must know that Avalanche Community Proposals (ACP) are documents to request changes, these must be approved by the community and implemented on the network, later through an update.
The Avalanche Community
Members of the Avalanche community play an important role. They must approve the proposal by exercising the governance vote. In addition, those who wish to create a subnet validator node find in the ACP-77 a set of new features to encourage participation. , encourage decentralization and give more power to subnets.
The AvalancheHub Community
The community of Social Miners of @DAO Labs in AvalancheHub, are a support team in the dissemination of technological projects and the ecosystem of the @Avalanche_CN network.
Social miners on AvalancheHub know the project, keep the $AVAX token in their wallets, participate in the opportunities that the network and ecosystem offer to users.
The AvalancheHub community also plays an important role, as they bring information about the most relevant aspects of Avalanche to the media and social networks.
AvalancheHub in @DAO Labs , is the hub with the largest and constantly growing community.
The force that #SocialMining exerts in the media and social networks is indisputable, they are like a great wheel that is in continuous movement.
Social Mining on AvalancheHub allows participants to earn $AVAX as an incentive for valuable contributions and building aligned communities.
The AvalancheHub supports the growth of the#Avalanchenetwork and ecosystem. At AvalancheHub, ACP-77 is believed and seen as an advance towards strengthening and consolidating Avalanche, as one of the most prominent chains in the Blockchain industry.
