[Michael Saylor sent "Bitcoin Satoshi" information to former NBA star Scottie Pippen]
Prominent Bitcoin supporter and MicroStrategy co-founder Michael Saylor recently spoke with former NBA star Scottie Pippen on the X platform.
Pippen recently mentioned cryptocurrencies and Satoshi Nakamoto in a post, posting a self-promotional post: "There was Satoshi Nakamoto, and then there was Scottie Pippen." Reaction from the Bitcoin community was mixed. Trader Bob Lukas commented: "Which 18-year-old fanatic is feeding you this nonsense?" Kraken Exchange responded: "Bold strategy Cotton, let's see how it develops." Michael Saylor also responded, mentioning Satoshi and urged Pippen to buy Bitcoin: "Satoshi will tell you to buy Bitcoin, Scottie."
General users criticized Pippen, saying it was inappropriate for him to compare himself to Satoshi Nakamoto. On July 24, Pippen posted a provocative post: “Bitcoin or Ethereum?” and promised to reveal “a game-changing decentralized project” within 24 hours.
Samson Mow posted that he expected positive Bitcoin news in the coming days and advised the global Bitcoin community to forget about the possibility of Bitcoin falling below $70,000. He calculated the Bitcoin price in millions and wrote "0.07 million dollars," or $70,000.
Currently, Bitcoin is trading around $64,000, having dropped around 4% in the past 24 hours from $66,740 to its current price.
Additionally, Mt. Gox continues to move large amounts of Bitcoin to pay creditors, with 48,000 BTC worth more than $3.1 billion being transferred today in what appears to be a Mt. Gox transaction.
