Ethereum spot ETFs traded on the second day with $951 million in volume
On the second day of trading in the U.S. market, Ethereum ETFs saw cumulative volume approaching $1 billion.
According to Yahoo Finance data compiled by The Block Pro Research, Ethereum spot ETFs saw cumulative volume of about $951 million on Wednesday. On Tuesday, the funds saw their first day on the market with volume of $1.054 billion.
Grayscale Ethereum Trust (ticker: ETHE) led again with about $492 million in volume, accounting for about 52% of total volume. It was followed by BlackRock's iShares Ethereum Trust (ETHA) ($256 million) and Fidelity Ethereum Fund (FETH) ($113 million).
According to SosoValue data, these ETFs saw net inflows of $106.7 million on Tuesday, with total assets under management exceeding $10 billion. Grayscale Ethereum Trust experienced a net outflow of $484.1 million, making it the only fund to see outflows.
Regarding Tuesday's debut, Bloomberg's James Seyffart said the ETF launch "basically" met his expectations. "If we compare it to a standard ETF launch, it was a huge success," Seyffart said.
