Ethereum ETFs launched, but fell short of Bitcoin
- New Ethereum (ETH) spot ETFs raised $100 million on their first day of trading, but that's only 10-20% of Bitcoin's (BTC) debut in January.
- Analysts believe that ETH is more difficult to sell to traditional investors.
- The top three ETFs—Blackrock, Bitwise, and Fidelity—raised $266 million, $204 million, and $71 million, respectively.
- However, the old Grayscale ETHE fund lost $484 million.
