🔥Ferrari will start accepting cryptocurrency payments in Europe.
Luxury sports car manufacturer Ferrari will expand the payment option with #Criptomonedas in the European region. This payment system is expected to be implemented this end of the month, according to Reuters.
The option in payments with cryptocurrencies is not something new for the Italian company, since this payment system was initially implemented for its cars in October of last year for its customers in the United States.
The initial decision to accept cryptocurrencies as a means of payment was made in response to requests from the market and distributors, in addition to many of the #ferrari customers who invested in cryptocurrencies. Currently, #mercado in the United States is accepting #Bitcoin! , Ether and #USDC as means of payment.
In 2021, electric car manufacturer Tesla had begun accepting payments in Bitcoin in the United States, however, some time later Elon Musk announced that he would discontinue this payment system due to environmental concerns related to Bitcoin mining.
