According to TechFlow, Coinbase announced that the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has approved the applications of 9 spot Ethereum ETFs. This marks another important milestone in the cryptocurrency industry in expanding access and diversification. As a trusted partner and custodian, Coinbase provides support for 10 of the 11 spot Bitcoin ETFs and 8 of the newly approved 9 Ethereum ETFs.
Coinbase said that the spot ETF will help drive further growth and innovation in the cryptocurrency market, expanding the scale and breadth of the market. The Ethereum ecosystem has more than 15 million monthly active addresses, and smart contract deployment will grow by 300% in 2023.
