Kazakhstan declares war on corruption!
The state started a pilot project by tracking the money allocated for railway construction with digital tenge (CBDC). In this way, marked money will be paid only to organizations that fulfill all their obligations.
Well what does it mean?
The government of Kazakhstan and the State Anti-Corruption Agency plan to improve procedures for monitoring expenditures of public funds using this pilot project. If successful, they aim to use this procedure in agriculture, construction and social assistance payments.
