Within the report, Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation (SMBC) Executive Director Thaddaeus Lee discusses the importance of interoperability:

“Enabling seamless communication and interoperability between participants, systems (both traditional and new), and on-chain and off-chain markets during the transaction lifecycle of tokenized assets becomes a critical factor for the industry.”
