According to ChainCatcher, blockchain security company Veridise reported that audits of zero-knowledge projects are twice as likely to find critical issues as other types of audits.
Veridise analyzed 1,605 vulnerabilities found in the last 100 audits, with an average of about 16 issues found per audit, while ZK audits found a slightly higher number of issues at an average of 18. When focusing on serious vulnerabilities, Veridise found that 55% (11 out of 20) of ZK audits contained serious issues, while other audits (including smart contracts, wallet integrations, blockchain implementations, and relays) had a ratio of 27.5% (22 out of 80).
