ChainCatcher news, the Central Bank of the Philippines (BSP) reminds the public to be vigilant against video and audio scams involving artificial intelligence manipulation, involving the promotion of false information such as cryptocurrency investment.

BSP emphasized that Governor Eli M. Remolona Jr. does not support the so-called cryptocurrency project "Tesler Code" or any other cryptocurrency investment. Misrepresenting the BSP or its officials is a punishable crime. To avoid falling victim to these scams, the BSP advises the public to be cautious, avoid sharing personal information with unverified entities, and verify the legitimacy of communications from purported BSP representatives.
