$5.7 Billion Cryptocurrency Company Acquired the Industry Pioneer!

Crypto-focused investment company Galaxy Digital has made a giant acquisition.

Galaxy Digital has reportedly acquired “substantially all” of the assets of blockchain node operator CryptoManufaktur.

Making a statement about the acquisition, Galaxy blockchain infrastructure head Zane Glauber stated that this step will be critical for protocols and developers:

Galaxy is rapidly expanding its blockchain infrastructure and staking capabilities and capacity to provide enterprise-level technical expertise and support to strategic corners of the digital asset ecosystem. Our acquisition of CryptoManufaktur is an important milestone that significantly strengthens our position as the leading technical partner for protocols and developers.

CryptoManufaktur was initially focused on Chainlink’s (LINK) data flow and infrastructure developments. It expanded further and began supporting the network by running Ethereum proof-of-stake (PoS) node deployments.
