The newly launched Banana Gun token plummeted more than 99% within three hours of its launch after a bug was discovered in its contract.
Native token BANANA from Telegram bot Banana Gun couldn't have gone worse; The price of the newly released BANANA fell from a high of $8.70 to $0.02 in less than 3 hours after its release.
Some cryptocurrency users were quick to complain, accusing it of “rug-pull.” However, Banana Gun's official X account blamed a bug in the token contract that the team was unable to fix, noting that the bug managed to "survive two audits."
