🔹 HKMA has just announced the first companies participating in the stablecoin issuance sandbox:

- Company affiliated with JD.com

- Local Fintech

- Alliance of Standard Chartered Bank, Animoca Brands and HK Telecom

🔹 These companies will be evaluated and will not be allowed to process or raise capital from the public in the sandbox.

🔹 Animoca Brands cooperates with large companies to develop the digital asset ecosystem in Hong Kong. Zodia Custody will provide cold storage services.

🔹 Jingdong Coinlink Technology and RD InnoTech also participate with plans to issue the HKDR stablecoin.
