#BitcoinNews: Runes Protocol Fever Fades, BTC Regains Dominance🎢

Since its launch on April 20, the Runes protocol once accounted for more than 50% of transactions on the Bitcoin network, but the craze has gradually faded over time. Today, BTC is back in control, accounting for 90.7% of all transactions on the blockchain.

Despite this, Runes still maintains its lead among Bitcoin protocols, accounting for 7.9% of all transactions on July 17, while BRC-20 and Ordinals account for 1.1% and 0.4%, respectively.
