đ FTX roadmap to resolve debt for creditors after 2022 bankruptcy đ
After many negotiations with the CFTC, FTX has reached an agreement. FTX will pay a total of 12.7 billion USD to resolve the legal allegations. Of which, 8.7 billion USD is for compensation and 4 billion USD to repay creditors. And the CFTC does not require civil penalties to be imposed.
đAugust 16 is the deadline for creditors to vote on how they will receive debt payment (can be cash or receive coins at current market value)
đOn October 7, Judge John Dorsey issued his final decision.
